General rental agreement. If you wish to add a joint tenant to your tenancy agreement, this requires our consent from the owner. Article 12, paragraph 1 1 of the 2014 Law contains the following changes: ï · · The proposed co-location must have lived in the property as a single or main house for 12 months before the co-location (previously unqualified) was submitted. And · The 12 month period can only begin if we are not told that the person lives in the property as their only or main home. We should have said that you, the co-inquiline or the person you now want to become co-inquiline. If we are told that a person is living in the property, we do not have to report again. This change will come into effect from November 1, 2019.
