This Agreement is entered into between the Spring Hill Site of General Motors LLC (GM) and Local 1853 of the International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America (UAW). The Parties have long recognized the need for new approaches to Union/Management relations and the recognition that people are our most valuable asset in the manufacturing of vehicles in the United States. GM and the Union recognize the necessity of further developing innovative approaches to Union/Management relations to accomplish our mutual objectives.
