The Company shall grant a leave of absence without pay to any employee who attends essential Union business. The Union will give a minimum of fifteen (15) days notice of such request. It is understood that a maximum of three (3) Union members will be allowed off at one time from the Regina service area, the Saskatoon service area and the Winnipeg service area. It is agreed that in the event of an emergency occurring, the Executive and Stewards of the Local will be granted a leave of absence upon request. Only one employee from the warehouse and one employee from the clerical group may be off on leave of absence at the same time.
