It is the desire of both parties to this Agreement to maintain the existing harmonious relations and conditions of employment between the Corporation and the Union, to promote co-operation and understanding between the Corporation and it staff, to recognize the mutual value of joint discussions and negotiations in all matters pertaining to working conditions, hours of work and scale of wages, and to promote the morale, well-being and security of a l l employees within the bargaining unit.
