Technology is a component in our world that is rapidly changing and moving us forward. Our vision at The Calverton School is to foster educational experiences that allow students to create, research, and practice. An integral component to this is the necessity to model and stress the importance that the iPad will be exclusively used as an educational device. We begin modeling this and introducing appropriate technology use in our early childhood program. iPads are provided for each child and students will be using these devices weekly. Per Maryland State requirements, we want to inform you that students are limited to 30 minutes per week of passive use. However, early childhood students at the Calverton School are guided with their use of iPads and have teacher presence and management at all times.
