Read the Student Conference Attendance Agreement and countersign it for each student. Before the conference, review it with your students (even though they may have already signed it) and impress the importance of their proper behavior as well as consequences both at the conference and at their campus. Be sure to mail these in for all students attending along with the conference registration. Be present the entire time that you have students at the conference site. This includes overnight hours. If you send another college employee to substitute for you as an advisor, be sure that person is informed about this agreement and agrees to follow it. He/She must sign the agreement and return it with the conference registration materials. Support the policy regarding possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages and illegal substances as stated on the Student Conference Attendance Agreement form.
