At the September 12, 2016 meeting, City Council approved a Local Public Agency Agreement for Federal Participation for the 38th Street, 7th Avenue to Blackhawk Road Resurfacing Project. In which, the Illinois Department of Transportation committed $4,793,600 in Federal Surface Transportation Program Funds and the City appropriated $1,198,400 for this project which is a 80/20 cost share.
