FiledJune 6th, 2016Under the terms of its collective agreements with the PEA and the BC Government and Service Employees’ Union (the “BCGEU”) employees who are classified as Stationary Employees and are required to be away from their “Headquarters” in the performance of their job duties are paid a meal allowance by the Employer. Such employees are described as being on “travel status” during these periods. The provisions concerning this benefit are identical in the PEA and BCGEU agreements.
