Mr. President, I’m reminded of all who made the ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan, in- cluding members of your own family. I pay tribute to those Afghans who have lost their lives alongside our men and women and sacri- ficed for their country. Of course, our hearts are heavy as we remember so many who have died in this war. I’m grateful that this agree- ment pays tribute to the sacrifices made by the American people here in Afghanistan.
