Grove City College (“GCC” or “College”) is committed to providing equal access and opportunity to individuals with disabilities. This policy explains the requirements applicable to an Emotional Support Animal (ESA). Although it is the policy of Grove City College that animals of any kind are generally prohibited from any type of college housing, Grove City College will consider requests for an ESA, in accordance with the Fair Housing Act, by an individual with a significant mental health disability. Emotional Support Animals are NOT permitted in college housing at any time without first receiving approval from the Disability Services Coordinator. Individuals found with an unauthorized animal in college housing will be subject to disciplinary sanctions.
