The purpose of this report is to provide details regarding the attached License of Occupation with the Knick Knack Nook Re-Use It Store Society (KKN), a not-for profit society incorporated in 2009. The License of Occupation would allow KKN to use a 750M² portion of 1063 Mt. Gardner Road (Lot 2) for the purpose of continuing to operate a “Re-Use-It” thrift store to encourage the recycling of used materials in good condition and to reduce the transport of such materials off Bowen Island. This report also provides details about KKN request to receive authorization to apply for a Building Permit for an addition to the existing accessory building to enable the Society to continue its work.
