In an effort to provide the best possible service to the citizens of the Township of Lower Merion and the Municipality of Norristown, the Municipality of Norristown has requested to enter into a Mutual Aid Agreement with the Township of Lower Merion. At this time the Township does not have any documented mutual aid agreements with any of our surrounding municipalities, but this is something that should be pursued in order to allow for mutual assistance in the event of a fire or conflagration, and to outline operational and administrative responsibilities of each of the municipalities.
