Temporary snow and ice storage allows the applicant to temporarily store snow or ice in a street right-of-way. The applicant has 24 hours to have the snow/ice removed. There is no fee with this type of Agreement. Removal of snow plowed into an existing windrow by the City Public Works Department. Snow is plowed or moved into an existing windrow on a street the City currently plows to the center and picks up. A removal fee is required and based on the prior three-year average snowfall (from the National Weather Bureau) and the size of the parking area or private property being plowed.
