DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS VETERANS HEALTH ADMINISTRATION (VHA) VETERANS CARE AGREEMENT A. GENERALThis Veterans Care Agreement OCC add VCA number (Agreement) is entered into by and between the undersigned entity or provider (Provider) and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) (collectively, the Parties) in accordance with section 1703A of title 38, United States Code (U.S.C.) and 38 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) §§ 17.4100-4135. B. COVERED SERVICES1. Provider shall furnish medically necessary hospital care, medical services, and/or extended care services that are authorized by VA in accordance with the terms of this Agreement (Covered Services).2. This Agreement shall not cover emergency care that is not ancillary to authorized services. In no event shall such emergency care be deemed to have been authorized by VA under this Agreement.3.
