These Articles of Joint Agreement (the "Articles") are authorized pursuant to Indiana Code 36-1-7-12(d) which expressly provides that “Two (2) or more governmental entities may procure together or with a nonprofit entity if the requirements of the public purchasing statutes are met.” The purpose of these Articles is to enable school districts to form a school foodservice purchasing cooperative. Member school districts have determined that it is in the best interests of the students and the school districts to join the Cooperative (as defined below) and agree to be bound by these Articles.
