Person(s) desiring to use Village water for construction or landscaping purposes shall complete application. Upon permission being granted and a deposit of $500.00 for a 5/8" or 3/4" meter and/or a $2,000.00 fee for a 2" meter, said fee being used to pay for water used and the use of the meter, a meter will be issued by the Department of Public Works. There will be a flat renewal charge of $10.00 after each 90 day period for the use of the hydrant meter. There is a $40.00 administrative fee that will be charged for all meter rentals. All water used is charged at the current water rate per 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof. All meters, valves, hoses or other accessories received shall remain the property of the Village of Lombard and must be returned in acceptable condition, as determined by the Village. It shall be the responsibility of the authorized person as indicated
