WHEREAS, the general purpose of this Agreement is to establish mutually satisfactory arrangements between the Employers and their Employees and to provide a mechanism for the prompt and equitable disposition of grievances, and to establish and main- tain satisfactory working conditions, hours of work, wages and fringe benefits for all the Employees who are subject to the pro- visions of this Agreement.
