(The “tenant” and Harrogate Borough Council (“the Council”). You are a “secure tenant” and the Council is your landlord and each has certain rights and responsibilities including the terms and obligations of the tenancy. These are explained in this tenancy agreement. By signing this agreement you are agreeing to become a tenant. You are entering into a legal contract with the Council. You should read the tenancy agreement carefully before signing it. If you do not understand this agreement or anything on it, it is strongly suggested you ask for it to be explained to you before you sign it.
