At our Children's Mental Health locations, our goal is to give people the tools, strategies and confidence they need to cope with their struggles. Our children’s mental health treatment programs work to prevent further social, emotional and behavioural difficulties for young people and their families at home, school and in the community. Building on each individual’s unique strengths and needs, we develop progress plans and strategies using therapeutic relationships and best practices that help people to achieve their goals. In addition, we use an individualized and strength-based approach in the work we do to support the young people and their families. We also consider and respect cultural, ethnic, spiritual and religious traditions and encourage people to engage in opportunities for personal growth and development.
