This Intergovernmental Agreement (“Agreement) is entered into by and between the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (“SRPMIC”), a Federally-Recognized Indian Tribe, and the City of Tempe (“Tempe” or “City of Tempe”), a political subdivision of the State of Arizona, pursuant to Section 12 Payment of Regulatory Costs; Tribal Contribution (“Section 12”) of SRPMIC and State of Arizona Gaming Compact 2002 (“Compact”) and Article VII, § 1(h) of the SRPMIC Constitution and A.R.S. §5- 601.02.
