Science is a hands-on laboratory class. Students will be performing many lab activities that will require the use of chemicals, lab equipment, and other items, which if used incorrectly could be hazardous. Safety in the science classroom is the number one priority for students, teachers, and parents. To ensure a safe science classroom, a list of rules has been developed and provided to you in this student safety contract. These rules must be followed at all times. The student and parent must sign the contract. Please read the entire contract before you sign. Students will not be allowed to participate in lab activities until their contract is signed and returned to the teacher.
