SCOPE OF WORKFunding Agreement • February 8th, 2023
Funding will be used to create short educational videos featuring federally endangered or threatened species in Missouri. The purpose of the videos will be to educate the general public on the natural history of the species (appearance, habitats used), reasons for decline, actions federal and state agencies (FWS, USACE, others) are taking to help species recover, and what Missourians can do to assist in species recovery (e.g. not contaminate water sources where fish live). The videos will be shared freely on social media platforms (e.g. Facebook), and available for use on agency and partner websites, or as educational materials for schools and various education and outreach groups. If there is enough funding left over once videos are produced, MOFO may work with a social media marketing specialist to increase Missouri resident exposure to the videos.
