This agreement sets forth the terms and conditions of the receipt of commercial support in the form of an educational grant relating to continuing medical education (CME) activities provided by Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine (FIU-HWCOM) and in accordance with the Essential Areas, Criteria for Accreditation and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), including the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support. Commercial Support is defined as financial, or in-kind, contributions given by a commercial interest, which is used to pay all or part of the costs of a CME activity.
