Contract Type FiledOctober 7th, 2015By accessing the North Carolina Community Care Networks, Inc.’s (“CCNC”) web-based patient information portal (“Provider Portal”), county Departments of Social Services (DSS) can accelerate care coordination and improve the continuity of health records for children in foster care. Counties interested in gaining access to Provider Portal need to enter into a TECCA with CCNC. The TECCA establishes the contractual relationship between parties to the agreement, outlines the obligations and liabilities of each, especially with respect to handling Patient Information, and describes the Fostering Health NC program expectations. Any party who signs the TECCA also agrees to the terms and conditions of the Participation Agreement (PA), which is part of the TECCA.
