Project description: The Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust is excited to partner with PHS to clear 1.77 acres of Emerald Ash Borer damaged trees and re-establish the native canopy and understory vegetation of a pre- agricultural forest community. The project will engage an estimated 200 volunteers in planting, train 10 citizen scientists in forest monitoring, and will include signage and web-based storytelling to educate visitors.
