A Cotutelle is an agreement between University College Dublin and a French third level institution that permits students to participate in a co-supervisory arrangement leading to the award of PhD from both UCD and the partner institution in France. The Co-Tutelle Agreement Template should be used to capture all relevant information pertaining to this collaborative provision and should be completed and signed off by the student, Principal Supervisor, Head of School, Graduate School Director, College Principal and President/Registrar in each University. This template should be approved by the signatories and by the Graduate School Board and then noted to the University Graduate Programmes Board.
