According to CUPA’s inspection report dated June 29, 2005, the concrete floor of the plating room was severely deteriorated, damaged and stained and that the restroom in the plating room was covered with liquid and foamy waste. The CUPA’s inspection report dated June 29, 2005, also stated that the samples of liquid from the restroom floor in the plating room indicated pH of 2.41, and hazardous waste levels of arsenic (20.6 mg/l), cadmium (118 mg/l), chromium (48.5 mg/l), copper (133 mg/l), nickel (118 mg/l), and zinc (570 mg/l) which exceeded STLC hazardous waste level.
