This Amendment No. 1 (the “Amendment”) is made by and between Verizon New England Inc., d/b/a Verizon Massachusetts (“Verizon”), a New York corporation with offices at 185 Franklin Street, Boston, MA 02110, and CBB Carrier Services, Inc., a corporation with offices at 253 Monticello Avenue, Norfolk, VA 23510 (“CBB”), and shall be deemed effective on April 25, 2006 and in no event later than the date on which the Agreement (as defined below) takes effect (the “Amendment Effective Date”). Verizon and CBB are hereinafter referred to collectively as the “Parties” and individually as a "Party". This Amendment covers services in Verizon’s service territory in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (the “Commonwealth”).
