This Annex shall be for the purpose of Iowa State University students performing short studies for air gap inspection of the Orion heat shield. The first study will utilize a Marshall General Purpose Network Analyzer and a Circularly-Polarized Microwave synthetic-aperture radar (SAR). The second study will utilize a Marshal General Purpose Network Analyzer and a Radially-Polarized Microwave SAR. The studies will then be compared using the two different methods of detection and a final report will be provided.
