By renting a kayak or paddle boat from the Park District, you accept full responsibility for any injuries, death, or property damage which may occur as a result of such rental. You further acknowledge that the Park District, through its representatives, have explained the risks associated with the use of a kayak and paddle boat on the Wellington Reservation, including the possibility that the kayak or paddle boat may capsize. You agree to properly wear a life jacket supplied by the Park District at all times while using the kayak or paddle boat and acknowledge that the Park District does not provide any lifeguard or safety personnel to monitor the lake.
