The Solana Beach School District ("District") is pleased to offer students and staff access to District computers, communication systems (websites, mobile devices, podcasting and other emerging technologies), the Internet and an array of technology resources to promote educational excellence and innovation. The District curriculum includes student access to District approved technology and software. Some programs offer individual instruction based on student input and performance. The District also utilizes student data based software for record keeping purposes, such as grading and attendance. The terms and conditions of such programs are available on the District website. The District follows the requirements contained in the Child Internet Protection Act (CIPA) by filtering inappropriate content. Access to District technology resources is limited and is subject to District Board Policies and Administrative Regulations as amended from time to time and subject to all applicable local,
