THIS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (hereinafter referred to as either “Agreement” or “MOU”), made as of the 7th day of March 2017, (“Effective Date”) by and between County Commissioners of Caroline County, Maryland, a body politic and corporate and a political subdivision of the State of Maryland, (hereinafter referred to as ‘COUNTY”) with its principal offices located at 109 Market Street, Denton, MD, 21629 and Choptank Electric Cooperative, Inc. a Maryland non-profit consumer cooperative corporation with its principal offices located at 10384 River Rd, Denton, Maryland 21629 (hereinafter referred to as (“CEC”). CEC and the COUNTY may each be referred to herein as a “Party” and may be referred to collectively as “Parties.”
