All Internet/Computer users should be aware that the Freetown Public Libraries cannot monitor all internet activity and is not responsible for site content. No filter is 100% effective in eliminating access to objectionable material and are NOT meant to be a substitution for parental supervision. As with other library materials, restrictions of a child’s access to content is the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian. Use of library computers indicates that users have read and agree to this policy and its conditions. Patrons under the age of 12 who wish to access the internet must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
