Whereas the parties agree that it is mutually beneficial to have a harmonious relationship and desirable to arrange and maintain fair and equitable earnings, labour standards, wage rates and working conditions to obtain efficient operations, to protect the safety and health of employees and to provide machinery for the adjustment of disputes which may arise between the parties hereto. Therefore the Company and the Union agree as follows:
