The TxDOT Laredo District requested the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) to conduct an analysis of approximately 5.25 miles along the FM 1472 (Mines Road) corridor from Loop 20 (now called IH 69W) and FM 3338 (Las Tiendas Road). The purpose of the analysis was to identify potential short-term, medium-range, and long-range improvements along the corridor.
