, 2015 (hereafter referred to as “Effective Date”) pursuant to Ordinance # passed by the City of San Antonio Council on , by and between the CITY OF SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS (hereafter referred to as "City"), a Texas Home Rule Municipality and the COUNTY OF BEXAR (hereafter referred to as "County"), a political subdivision of the State of Texas. City and County collectively shall be referred to as “the Party” or “the Parties.” This Agreement is entered into by City and County pursuant to the authority granted by the provisions of the Interlocal Cooperation Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 791. This Agreement is intended to further the purpose of the Interlocal Cooperation Act by increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of local governments.
