This Amendment No. 1 (the “Amendment”) is made by and between Verizon North Inc. and Verizon South Inc. (collectively “Verizon”), a Wisconsin corporation with offices at 8001 West Jefferson, Ft. Wayne, IN 46804 and 201 N. Franklin Street, One Tampa City Center, Tampa, FL 33602, respectively, and KMC Data LLC, a Limited Liability Company with offices at 3200 W. Pleasant Run Road, Suite 260, Lancaster, TX 75146 (“KMC Data”), and shall be deemed effective on June 14, 2006 and in no event later than the date on which the Agreement (as defined below) takes effect (the “Amendment Effective Date”). Verizon and KMC Data are hereinafter referred to collectively as the “Parties” and individually as a "Party". This Amendment covers services in Verizon’s service territory in the State of Illinois (the “State”).
