The Society is pleased to announce it has signed an agreement with the Trustees of the Staff Pension Scheme such that they have bought a policy from Legal and General, which has secured a good proportion of the pension scheme's liabilities. In consequence, the amount of capital the Society will have to hold against the pension scheme has reduced.
