Whereas the parties agree that it is mutually beneficial and desirable to arrange and maintain fair and equitable earnings, wage rates, and working conditions, to obtain efficient operations to protect safety and health of employees, and to provide machinery for the adjustment of disputes which may arise between the parties hereto. It is the desire of both parties to work together harmoniously in promoting their mutual interest in the maintenance of efficient operations in the Company’s Therefore, the Company and the Union agree as follows:
