Increased Limitation Period Applicable to Certain ContractsJanuary 19th, 2022
Pub. L. 86–35, § 2, May 29, 1959, 73 Stat. 63, provided that agreements entered into before May 29, 1959 by the Secretary of Commerce and a State highway depart- ment under authority of section 110(a) of the Federal- Aid Highway Act of 1956, or section 108(a) of title 23 of the United States Code shall be deemed to provide for actual construction of a road on such rights-of-way within a period of seven years following the fiscal year in which such request was made.
