The purpose of this Agreement is to establish, maintain and promote harmonious relations between the Employer, the employees and the Union; to establish certain requirements governing relations between the parties; to encourage safety and efficiency in operations; to provide wages, hours of work, employee benefits and general working conditions affecting employees covered by this Agreement; and, to provide mechanisms for the resolution of problems that may arise from to time, in accordance with the provisions of this Collective Agreement.
