A The Licensing Authority is responsible for ensuring that all vehicles used as Hackney Carriages and for Private Hire in Cornwall are suitable and safe. It discharges this duty by ensuring that all vehicles used for these purposes are regularly tested at testing stations that have been approved by the Licensing Authority.
