Purpose: The purpose of the Subsidy is to support Homeward Trust Foundation in the fulfillment of its role as the organization responsible for leading efforts to end homelessness in Edmonton. As a system-planner organization, Homeward Trust collects data and reports on progress towards the goal of ending homelessness, provides funding for housing programs and aligns funding streams for ending homelessness, leads research and public awareness activities, convenes community organizations for collective action and is further positioned to quickly adapt programming to meet emerging local needs.
