The following is a list of project types that City Staff will review. If the proposed project meets the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation and will not “damage or destroy” a property listed in the Register of Historic Kansas Places or the National Register of Historic Places, then the City Staff will sign off on the permit. If, however, City Staff determines that the project may “damage or destroy” a property listed on the National Register of Historic Places or Register of Kansas Historic Places, then according to the agreement, the project will be sent to the Historic Preservation Board for review.
