AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO ANDCHARIS CHILDREN’S CENTER THIS AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT, entered into this day of , 20 , by and between the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, hereinafter called "County," and CHARIS CHILDREN’S CENTER, hereinafter called "Contractor"; W I T N E S S E T H: WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code, Section 31000, County may contract with independent contractors for the furnishing of such services to or for County or any Department thereof; WHEREAS, on June 13, 2008 the parties entered into an Agreement for the provision of Day Treatment Intensive Services, Medication Support Services, Mental Health Services, Crisis Intervention Services, and Therapeutic Behavioral Services for San Mateo County youth for the term July 1, 2008 through June 30, 2009; and WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the Agreement to extend the term through June 30, 2010, and to increase the Agreement maximum by $304,819 to a new maximum of $394,819.
