This Cooperative Agreement (“this Agreement”) is made and entered into this day of July, 2015, by and between the City of Arvada, Colorado, a home rule municipal corporation (“the City”) (through its governing body, City Council) and the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, a Colorado Non-Profit corporation, (“the Non-Profit”) (through its governing Board) individually, a “Party,” collectively, the “Parties.” The Parties to this Agreement have a shared goal and common interest to ensure that the Arvada Center continues to be a thriving, sustainable, and financially responsible arts and humanities facility for the citizens of Arvada, whose building and associated grounds are preserved and well-maintained and a prominent and well-respected resource for humanities, arts, culture, and education for the greater Denver Metropolitan Area and the State of Colorado.
