DESCRIBE THE REQUEST OR ISSUE: The BCC has given approval for County staff to move forward with finding a new location for a community garden to replace the Roots Community Garden, which is currently located on the site of the new HHS building. Extension staff and County Attorney Erick Knaus have been working with UC Health to secure a new location on UC Health property, located at 1920 Pine Grove Road in Steamboat Springs. UC Health is willing to provide the site for a new community garden in partnership with the County and the attached License, Indemnity, and Insurance Agreement needs to be agreed to by both parties in order to move forward with the creation of the new gardens. NOTE: UC Health has been asked to clarify Section #8, g to note that water services will be provided to the site. If th
