This action was initiated by a complaint filed with the United States Department of Justice ("the Department") against South Florida Baptist Hospital. The complaint was investigated by the Department under the authority granted by section 308(b) of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 ("ADA"), 42 U.S.C. § 12188. 2. South Florida Baptist Hospital is an acute care hospital system, operating primarily in southern Florida. 3.
