The Government of the Italian Republic and the Government of the Republic of Cyprus, hereinafter referred as "The Parties", wishing to further develop cultural and educational exchanges and thus help strengthening friendly relations between their Countries and Peoples, in accordance with art. 5 of the Cultural Agreement signed in Nicosia on the 29th June 1973, agreed upon the following Programme for the years 2001-2005.
