The Los Angeles County (County) Sheriff’s Department (Department) seeks approval for the renewal of a Law Enforcement Services Agreement (Agreement) between the County of Los Angeles (County) and the city of Monrovia (City) for the period of July 1, 2015, through June 30, 2020. The Department will provide a lieutenant to assist in the management and oversight of the War Room and Intelligence Watch Center of the Los Angeles County Regional Criminal Information Clearinghouse (Clearinghouse War Room). The Clearinghouse War Room is a watch center with an operational mission of officer and public safety through event de-confliction. De-confliction is a critical component of any investigation involving search warrants and also allows for valuable information sharing and avoids Blue on Blue incidents. The City serves in the roll of fiduciary for all grant funding of the Clearinghouse.
